Thanks for the info guys - I'll pass it on to the other's I'm going
with.

Also, we're going to be there for 3 days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
I guess it would be fun to visit Muerren, Wengen and Grindelwald.

If you're planning to cover the whole area, one day should be spent in
the "First" area, which is at the far side of Grindelwald, and a right
pain to park at if it's busy. So get up there really early if you're
driving - otherwise there's a shuttle bus from the station.

The other bits of Grindelwald and Wengen are all accessible from
either side, so you can start from Grund or Lauterbrunnen and work
your way around and back, but I'd tend to prefer Grund, as you can ski
all the way back to the car park, whereas you need to take a train
back down the other way. Again, it depends if you're driving or not.

Any tips on which day would be best for each?

Weather dependant, really. Going up to the top of Muerren is best on a
clear day, for the views if nothing else. It's also quite exposed, so
wrap up if it's cold.

Any ideas which is best
for beginners and intermediates?

There's a dedicated "Beginner's Park" at Kleine Sheidegg, but other
than that any of the areas would be suitable, as they've all got a
fair range of slopes.

I agree completely with Ace, but just to add: I'd aim for Grindelwald First
on the quietest day, which for you I guess will be the Friday, if you
really want to go there. But you don't have to go there at all; there is
more than enough to keep you happy at Kleine Scheidegg/Maennlichen (above
Wengen) for two days, and Muerren for another one.
