Yes, I know we had this discussion last year.

In the 60's (when wedeln was born) this
would NOT have been wedeln, simply because
there WAS braking. It would have been
'short swing' turns. Linked turns, braking,
no traverse between turns.

Wedeln = 'wiggle' IMO the turns are not
short enough in this video and there is TOO
MUCH edge to be called 'wedeln'.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Oh my gosh! You remember what was said last year - maybe we won't have
to repeat the whole conversation.

Let's move right ahead to measuring steepness in percent.

Like that's ever stopped us before.

Let's move right ahead to measuring steepness in percent.

Excuse me, I think this is where I came in...

Would this be a good time to bring up the "flying lawnmower" and mention
the "angle of attack?"

Really? Will this be your one time this year?

No, I seldom do it, but I do do it occasionally to make my skiing
easier/less efforts, but it is the first time ever I do it for the
opening day, but lucks would have it, with the impending storm, I
think Heavenly would put the lifts on wind hold today.

What for? From your claims, you never use them.

Well, sharp edges and hot wax may not improve your skiing techniques,
but sure make your skiing a lot easier with less effort.
