Absurd & Sad
"Joe" wrote in message ... I am a lifelong skier and have also used use net for many years. As fall approaches my mind is now starting to turn to skiing. So a few days ago I started visiting this group to see if anything useful was being posted. What I found was a group that could be mistaken for the waiting room outside the in-patient drug dispensary of a State Mental Hospital. At first I was tempted to laugh, but after a moment of thought I realized how sad it really is. Here is a group that could provide information about a great activity, instead it is being used by lithium deprived metal cases to toss insults back and forth. One entry in your killfile converts this back to a skiing newsgroup. |

There are fewer people down under that post during their ski season as well. Since we got a little bit of snow in Colorado last week, that has gotten the signal to rise a bit here as of late. I hope Joe decides to stick around for a bit. Once some of us are logging our first turns of the season, the traffic here should be what Joe is looking for. About 30 days away for me, neener, neener. I guess we could also let Joe know about the other ski group: rec.skiing.alpine.moderated Sam "Have I bragged about my new ski gear yet?" Seiber |

I'll let you judge for yourself. And provided you use your killfile judiciously, you really can talk skiing in here. Or if you prefer, there's a moderated newsgroup where no posts that aren't about skiing are permitted. Anyway. Good luck. -- Alan Baker Vancouver, British Columbia "If you raise the ceiling 4 feet, move the fireplace from that wall to that wall, you'll still only get the full stereophonic effect if you sit in the bottom of that cupboard." |

Good luck. You'll need the good luck if you tell the truth and this wacko fixates on you the way he has fixated on me. Not to mention he's a coward that hasn't got the balls to spew his filth in person. RUN! This wacko is not only psychopathic, he's delusional. |

What is truly absurd and sad is that this pathological liar quotes one of the vilest of the liars.....and is so blind to his own dishonesty, so incapable of insight, so insane that he thinks he is making a valid point to decent people. Read the works of "Curtis Lemay" Then ask yourself what kind of delusional psychopathic liar would take his advice, much less quote him. The only thing Richard Henry wants you to ignore is the truth-and the truth is that the regulars of rsa are among the vilest bunch of people you will ever have the displeasure of meeting. |
