SR330 to Big Bear repairs
The Real Bev wrote:
Weekend trash in San Gabriel Canyon is a big problem. Junk, diapers, garbage, general slobbery beyond the capacity of the forest service to clean it up. If the Sierra Club really cared about The Environment they'd volunteer every Monday to clean up the crap the slobs leave. And if you really cared, you'd volunteer to clean it up. |

I've heard that the whole road is passable by the FS people but not by the public. *All usual disclaimers apply, do not taunt Happy Fun Ball. Part of the EIR says that the road was opened for emergency and maintenance use in the 90's, but there is only one lane in some places due to erosion on the downhill side. The only place where there is no pavement is the culvert construction project, where the excavation is crossed on a couple of steel plates apparently strong enough to handle the construction traffic. I met several hikers and bikers and saw tracks of others, but I don't know how welcome we would be on a construction workday. |

The difference is that Bev doesn't run around saying she cares. The sierra club does. But as we know, they don't. |

But as we know, they don't. WE? Who is we, BF Bob? Personally, I think the Sierra Club cares too damn much, but you're so ****ing stupid, you can make a statement like that. BTW, how about that contact info for the cops you have claimed to lie to? Do you know the name of the cop your buddy DL Henry lied to? No wonder you are the leader of DIAPER Team 6. Because you care sooooooo much you **** you diapers at the mere thought of meeting me in person. |

If I went there I'd take out what I brought in, and I'd probably take a little more. The problem is that it's crowded and unpleasant and I don't really want to go there at all. At least that's the way it was 40 years ago. We passed the picnic area on the way to the off-road area maybe 10 years ago. No change. I picked up a couple of empty beer cans from the area where I parked. Of course, they were worth 5+ cents each, so why not? I used to pick up cans on my bicycle rides, accumulating enough to buy a new [used] bicycle. The handlebar bag I used needed to be washed frequently, however. I don't know which is nastier, old sugar-soda or old beer. As a whitewater kayaker, I discovered what we called "eddy beers". Rafting parties would flip their raft, anf lose their beers and sodas. You could tell by how a can floats whether it is likely to be a full can or a throwaway. Interestingly, you found floating beers and diet sodas, but not non-diet sodas. Turns out, the sugared ones don't float - they sink. I averaged maybe a six pack a day for a few days on one trip. Unfortunately, it was mostly bud light. |

That sure makes sense given the behavior of this cowardly pathological liar. |

One gets that alot on the eastside of the Cascade Curtain, or in other strange places like Pierce and Lewis Counties.. Hey, Wack Job? Congratulations on being named to DIAPER Team 6. Speaking of strange places, how about providing the contact info for the cops you claim are monitoring my every move and are going to lock me up for life for exposing you as a wack job pathologically lying piece of **** coward? Off to tennis. Tell them where I am, I'm sure they will bust me on your word alone. And that of Dickless Henry, WC Baker, BF Thompson, and who knows how many other ppppppppuuuuuussssssiiiiiieeeeeesssssss who tried that laughable tactic. How humiliating for you. Almost as humiliating as "Show the post, Ted". |
