Default Glide Wax Deterioration?

I have several packages of high flouro glide wax left over from my
high schoolers racing days. They're about 4 years old. Does this stuff
deteriorate over time?

g.c.

Who anticipates the question "Why haven't you used it yourself?"
My answer is pure cheapskatese; i.e. "I'm saving it for "good."
Whatever "good" is.

I'm anything but expert in these matters, but I doubt that glide wax
deteriorates over time. I have older high fluoro glide wax that works
fine for me, I have never heard about ski wax getting old, and the fact
that I cannot recall ever seeing a best before date on any package of
skiing wax also feels like a good argument (if ski wax had limited
lifelength, then wouldn't the manufacturers have found out and put best
before dates on all packages so that people "have to" throw away their
old wax and buy new more often?).

Well, if the new results (in some other thread) about skis gliding
faster without wax takes off in the right direction, then perhaps your
HF waxes have high antique value in a couple of years?
