Max the stork is in big trouble
http://www.tagesanzeiger.ch/dyn/news...er/345913.html
The stork Max has decided that winter is over. He has left his winter residence in Morocco and is heading for home in the Canton of Frieburg. http://weather.yahoo.com/forecast/SZXX0012.html The stork Max has been found frozen in its nest of Fribourg, Switzerland, 08.00 a.m. CET. Something must really haven't worked with its forecasting system. :-)) Enotry Pallance |

Well not quite, despite Simon's predictions of Max being back on his nest mating like a banshee by February he's currently got his feet up on the beach in the South of France. A friend of mine who lives at Aix told me he saw a Stork on the beach
yesterday... he was walking around looking a bit fed-up with the weather. I wonder if it was Max? Well, I feel relieved.... must have been a turkey they found frozen, and in a kitchen-freezer, not in an outdoor nest.... I'm sure Max is now arguing with his tour operator, assuming he'll never travel again off-season just to spare some money. But you know, last-minute offers are always so promising....
