Default Killington today.

In spite of all indications to the contrary,
we had the best opening day ever.

They made tons of snow, It snowed all day
(the real stuff) and they had signs and
warnings all over the place that the mountain
was open for intermediate skiing and above
only (this didn't deter some people).

K1, Snowden triple, Poma 2 and North Ridge
were all running with top to bottom on
great conditions, especially considering
the heavy rain we had yesterday.

It was a cluster**** at K1 first thing, but
then everybody spread out and it was quite
bearable for the rest of the day.

Anyone know how the conditions are today, 11/20 (Wednesday?) It
actually snowed in boston for a couple of hours today, so I figure
they must be getting more up north.

We got 2 - 3 in this morning down in the valley.
Presumably more up top. It's been cold right along
since I wrote the report below. It was supposed to
warm up to drizzle this PM, but it's still at 30
degrees or so and no drizzle so it should be good.

11/20 is Tuesday.

We're expecting to get a bit warmer (40's) tomorrow
with a chance of showers. Same Thursday but cooling
off so that showers become snow showers by Thursday
night. That's as far as I go.
