Default How's the skiing in California or Utah?

I think I heard that Mammoth (for sure) and Alpine Meadows are open. Any
other areas? How is it? I'm driving out from Colorado next week and might
have a day to go skiing. For that matter I could stop off in SLC. Thanks
Bill

Add Squaw to the list. Good, deep snow; good, steep skiing. Spring
conditions (actually drizzly today, but back to normal i.e. Warm
California Sun [someone should write a song] tomorrow.) Spring
conditions mean you start on sunny slopes and move around with the sun,
knocking off twoish for beer and biking/sailing/eating/any gerund you're
fond of.

Mammoth reportedly plans to run lifts into July - check back later.
