Default Vail Resorts/Copper Tickets

Doing some skiing this coming week.

Can anyone tell me if they know of any deals on lift tickets (i.e. grocery
stores, gas stations, etc.) available in the Denver area.

thanks

Copper/Breck and Keystone lift tickets are available at all Front Range (the
area from DIA to the divide) King Soopers (Kroger) and Breeze Ski Rentals.
I don't know what they are getting for this tickets these days (I've had a
season pass since they went dirt cheap in '97)... but it use to be about 33%
off the ticket window price.... (so likely about $45..)

If you know you are coming to Colorado, you best bet is to get a Copper Card
(or equivalent from other areas...) in the fall (too late now..)

For $10 the Copper Card will allow you to ski for $40 per day (and buy up to
4 other tickets for the same price..purchased at the ski area...) and the
Coppper Card holder can skip the ticket window and head straight for the
lift... they will ding your credit card when they scan the Copper Card...

Stopped at the Starbucks in Downieville(?), about 35 miles outside of Denver
on the I70 and used the discount tix kiosk.

Copper single day lifts were going for $29; 3-day passes for the Vail
Resorts hills (which included one day at Vail or Beavercreek) were $150.
