DNF (2nd run): Stephan Eberharter - looks like he'll be playing catch up
again this year. Hopefully, he won't do it this time.

Waiting for SL results from today's race.


The more I read about Erik, the more bummed I get. He had the best time in
the top section of the 1st run and he had just come off a solid 3rd place
finish in a Chevy Truck Super Series slalom at Winter Park last Thursday.
He was skiing very well. His injury is a partial tear of his anterior
cruciate ligament and will likely need to have surgery to repair it.

Terrible luck. Schlopy stuck with his skiing when many others might have
been discouraged, and his skiing eventually validated the hard work
creates good results mantra; and now this. I wonder if he'll return or
move on.

I hope he has a speedy recovery.

Unfortunately, if he does need an operation the season is lost. Bummer.
