Default Goofy old recumbent riders...

Here's another goofy link, but sure not old and sure not slow...

One of these guys pictured legally won a UCI pro TT last year with one of these, if
I recall right. I think it was a Birk Team dude. --The tailboxes were ruled legal,
or some such. Kinda nice for hauling stuff, too.

Default Rollerski brakes...and popularity

What's our guess: Are rollerskis 3X as hard to stop as 5wheels and offer 3X less
handling potential?

I think we're worse off than the 5wheelers.

I don't think the current micro RS market will find users ADDING brakes to their
skis. I think any future LARGE market RS will come WITH brakes. See the diff? : )

That presupposes a pent up demand for roller skis. Honestly, I don't
think that the demand exists beyond a relatively small percentage of
people who ski and almost nil beyond the snow belt (at least in the US).
I think if the market were significantly large, Salomon would
have packaged a brightly colored, highly marketed rollerski instead of
putting their money into performance oriented mid-range inlines.

Besides, the selfish part of me doesn't want to share the local trails
with dozens of other people, all armed with pointy sticks, and most not
having a clue where the business end is going.
