Default Almost an epic powder day...

Well we were foiled very late in the game today here in
central VT. There were 18" total from yesterday morning
but we started to get rain just after day break which has
turned things into a very heavy mess. Luckily the rain hasn't
been excessive so we should end up with an ok amount after
they pack the stuff down. Good igloo making conditions!

Its been an amazing April up here - was out yesterday and
while visibility was down to 10 yeards at times, by late
afternoon there was about 8" of fairly nice snow. Since
4/4 we have had 80" of snow and are at 311 on the season -
shocking given the total lack of snow before mid January.

We will definitely make it through this weekend and they
plan on being open the following w/e, conditions permitting.
Unless there is a ton of rain or super warm temps that should
be doable.

Mike, you're making me depressed. But I guess I'm glad that someone's
getting the goods!
