PS: I think it's a little funny that I only go on one vacation a year
with my family and here I am taking 5 days and scarce cash to go do two
races I'm not ready for. And I'll be mooching lodging from and spending a
lot of hours with a cranky old bike racer, and riding a lot of miles in
his beat-up old Volvo. "That's the sporting life for me!"
