HeliSki in Europe: where is cheaper or better?
HeliSki in Europe: where is cheaper (or better)? I'd be thankful if anyone can give advice (or better yet - can share first-hand experience) on: WHERE to heliski in Europe at affordable price with decent service and nice slopes? I didn't do extensive search in internet, because information of this sort may be not so realiable. Who knows how highly those heliski guys can extol quality of their services and greatness of slopes? I heard that Italian (among few remaining in the Alps) are the cheapest, but they seem to have weak reputaion (their helicopters crash, flight service is not so regular, etc.) Any positive experiences? - Info? - Recommendations? Thanks! -- N. |

Actually I was going to say to go in British Columbia also. I don't
know anything about how price compares to Europe. In BC you'll be pretty much guaranteed that you will get awesome snow for your trip. Europe--- ya never know. Europe is a continental snowpack, so it's more avalanchey, etc. Also they haven't been getting much snow the last few years. If I were to go Heliskiing, I'd go to one of the BC operations. Way more snow, more stable snowpack... you cant miss. Just my 2 cents. Let us know what you end up doing! Chris |
