Default What's a Splitboard?

Man a splitboard is the perfect tool for any boarder who truely wants
to trek out into the back country. The split part of the board is
only ised for the sole purpose of getting somewhere... Like
cross-crountry, or telemark skis, a split board can have skins put on
the bottom to help traveresing up and across snow. Once you summit,
put it back togeather and rip with the best powder tool ever! a
snowboard!!! Anyone wanna buy me one?

Whoa there! First go take a two or three day avi course and spend a buttload on gear. Make sure you take some equally wealthy buddies. Practice. Practice. And practice some more so that someone will dig you out so the coffin isn't empty like those poor guys that got caught up by Sundance last year. You can really cover a lot of ground on a split board and get to where the goods are, but you can also get yourself in a ton of trouble really fast and you and your buddies are the only ones that can keep you alive.
