Wax Bench
There was an interesting wax bench that was being shown at the Birkie,
with homemade signs with its name on it leading into Cable. Despite the typically male comment to my wife (I'll remember it, don't write it down) I have forgotten it. Does anyone remember what it was and does anyone have any experience with it? I am in the market for a new bench and the construction of that one seemed very interesting. Dan Vargo SLC, UT |

Didn't see the one you're referring to, but Jim Farrell brought a wood
one that has the legs angled out and looked sturdy. Looked a little sturdier than the common $130 one with the form on top of a portable wood frame. Contact Dino Mense at Outdoor Venture to see if he still has them. |

Are you sure the Vasa is wood? Where is Outdoor Venture? In any event,
your suggestion got me to looking for wax benches via google. Pretty much all I found were the Martin forms and instructions for making one's own, plus the occasional mention of a Swix, Toko, or Vaughti. I didn't see the common two piece wood version sold here by local shops for about $130. But there is the Dragon Slayer model... http://top.wiitwd.org/DragonSlayer/wax_table.htm Gene Jeff Martin wrote: You must mean the Vasa Wax bench. I saw it at Outdoor Venture, it was $190.
