Jay T's Annual Thanksgiving Ski Camp Day 3:

11-24-06:
Another great day at the ski camp. Among the skiers participating were
John Schmidt, Jeff Arndt, Tom and Lee Bengel and me, Jay Tegeder. We
even had a non-skier, Rob Belz at the camp. The activity of the day was
a 1 hour 43 minute, 16 mile mountain bike ride on our single speeds at
Lebanon Hills south of Saint Paul. We rode in temps from 50F to 60F.
Yeah, that's right, 60F on November 24th in Minnesota. Closest snow
around - West Yellowstone...

Jay,
Yeah we have been cycling here in the Adironacks instead of skiing as
well. It's been so warm I can't even skate around the base lodge of
Gore Mt. on artificial snow. Usually by Thanksgiving they have a 300
yard stretch where I can ski a mini loop around the gondola lift, but
not this year. I'll tell Wynn and Matthews you have been riding your
single speed bike. Maybe we'll see you at Garnet Hill over Christmas.
