Default Just Returned from Arinsal

This was my first visit to Arinsal for over ten years. The reason I
picked this resort was its reputation for easy, beginner friendly
slopes for my eight-year-old son and I wasn't disappointed.

His English instructor was superb and he loved every minute of it. By
the end of the holiday he we was coming down blues with a big smile on
his face and bags of confidence kicking up snow whilst showing off his
"hockey turns"

The village has changed a lot in ten years and I wonder how much more
development can take place before the slopes in Arinsal get to
crowded. To counteract this the resort is now connected to Pal via the
gondola, which wasn't there on my last visit so hopefully this should
mean enough room for everyone. There is no real centre to Arinsal so
the nightlife is spread along its full length and I must say fairly
quiet. Ideal for families.

We did go to Pal once but I felt the blues were to steep for my son so
we didn't return. However others in my party spent all their time
there rather then Arinsal and thought it ideal for intermediates.

On our last day we went on a trip to Arcalis. If you do one thing when
in Andorra go there. It is superb. We went on a Saturday and the
slopes were really quiet with little queuing at the lifts and the
conditions were superb. My son had his best day there and I must say
it outshines some of the other more well known resorts in Europe that
I have been to.
