Default Lindsey Kildow

is the real deal. That young lady is really making a name for herself in DH
and SG. I wasn't sure if she'd keep getting good results. But she has been
so consistent. At 20, she has a great future in WC ski racing, me thinks.

Go Lindsey (another one - originally - from MN)!

Well done, Lindsay Kildow, but let's not forget about the real winner of
today's race. Renate Götschl - the aptly named Speed-Queen - is back on her
best form just in time for the world championships. And she only needs 1
more win on the world cup circuit to claim second place on the all-time wins
list!

Hopp Renate!

Yes indeed. Renate is the Speed Queen. Lindsey is becoming the Speed
Princess. :-) I'm just so proud of Lindsey because of where she started
out - Buck Hill in MN. Most athletes from this part of the US that make it
to WC level ski racing do so in the technical events (SL) - like Koz. But
Lindsey moved to CO and now she's becoming quite the speed threat. Very
cool.

Ooops, forgot about the great Vreni Schneider. With the next win (36th),
Renate will equal Katja Seizinger's record.
