Winterberg

Hi there,

I'm gonna ski next tuesday in Winterberg. Anybody some suggestions?
Nice restaurant, skirental, off piste (hehe), carpark etc.

Hi Marinus,

Please post a brief report!on your trip (slopes, crowds,etc.). I'm
still
wondering whether Winterberg is worth a day trip from Frankfurt or not.

There seem to be quite a few micro resorts[1] around here, but I really

can't see that there's gonna be any reliable snow on sub 1000m
'mountains'.

Thanks that was useful. I'm guessing that it is very busy at the
weekends, please let us know after your 26th Feb trip! Also, are the
lifts all drags? If so are they buttons or T bars (It makes a big
difference on a snowboard);
