Side Cut?
What is meant by 'side cut' when talking snowboards.
What does 'capped' construction mean? Also it seems all the newer boards have a side wall, the older ones did not - what is the benefit of the side walls? Or any good sites that would be good for explaining snowboards to me? Thanks! Tmuld |

Sidecut..radius of the inverted curve on the side of snowboards.
Shorter arc usually meaning quicker turns.... Capped...during the construction process the top and the beveled side is one piece down the to edges... Did not...you are wrong, they did, usually filled with ABS or some other flexible plastic... |
