Anyone know 1980 book "Technikk" by Langrenn?
In the latest issue of Cross Country Skier mag, Josh Thompson refers to
this book and some technique photos in it as inspiration for his style. I think it's Nat Brown writing the piece and he says he always thought JT had a "ride the front of wave" style, like he's continuously falling forward. Or something. Anyway the photo used appears to be of a skinny Niordi teen demonstrating great "forward fall" with a cool, dramatic piece of sports-bio-tech photography. Seemed suitable for framing, like some old Tour de France photos are, in a way. Makes me want to see the rest of that book! Googling comes up with nothing. Any leads? Is it a good book? --JP

I think that "Langrenn" means "cross country" in Norsk. You are
probably looking for a book with a title that would translage as "Cross Country Technique". Edgar
