Hemsedal, Norway

Has anybody been to Hemsedal during January. Considering going there
1st week Jan, wondered what the temperature was like and also the
amount of daylight (I hear it goes dark pretty early).

Would also appreciate and feedback on hotels/apts, any good/bad
experiences.

Finally has anybody used the Créche, any view on that ?

Hemsedal usually has good snow conditions in january, but beware, it can be
very very cold. Sunset is around 1530, so the last runs of the day are often
done in semi-darkness. Some pistes are lighted though.
It is one of the better ski-areas in Norway, and not too crowded midweek.
