Default Copper Mountain, CO?

Looks like my friends and I are headed to Copper Mountain the first week
of January. Any runs that can't be missed? Any comments on the park?

Thanks!
Rick

Try to get to the backside if you can. Also if you staying in Denver leave
early as that is one of the fartest away resorts.

We'll be staying directly in the Copper Mountain resort. We've booked a
2 bedroom condo for the week. I've been staring at the trail map online
since I found out planning which runs to ride. As for the backside,
I'll definitely try to get back there.

Thanks!

I'd do a day at Breckenridge, which is another world class place to
ride, while you're there. It's about 20 mins by car, they also have
bus service that will get you there from Copper. Don't miss the
food court at Copper, which is really super or the escalator to haul
your tired butt upstairs!

And if you want to hit Vail, it's about 30 mins west of Copper. I
like Copper or Breck better, but Vail is definitely worth doing too,
especially if you haven't been there before.

I was there late season two years ago. Its a fun mountain, should be
varied enough for most. You are kinda a captive in that Copper village
though. Like somebody else said, Breck is only about 20 mins drive away,
a lot more to do over there but it won't be cheap and I'd be careful with
the beers if you're driving.
