Default How's Whistler looking?

I'm going to be Vancouver this weekend and a bit into next week. I've
been watching the Whistler site for info on the conditions, but as a
Midwesterner I'm not sure how to interpret early season freezing
levels, rain, and what that means to mountain conditions.

Anyone have an opinion on how opening weekend looks this year as
compared to others? To my eyes it looks more suitable for a one day
trip rather than a two day trip, but I could be way off. Thanks!
