G'day. I have been lurking in this group for a month or so. I really

My question is how to stay unblocked? Do I have to not reply to certain

I recommend blocking anyone you see flaming the first time you see it
and this place will quickly shape up. There is enough good stuff to
read from all the others that you will not miss them. That is how I set
m killfiles. A couple are entertaining so I make an exception.

..Are any posters real-life ski friends?

yes, plenty.

Stay out of the flame wars with the loons, or at least minimise
direct responses to them. It's not like they will ever listen to
anything you say in any meaningful way. Mostly, the people I block
are the "enablers" that goad the #1 loon trying to antagonise him,
and of course, the loon himself. There is never anything of value in
those threads. There have been a few people who frequently get into
it with him that I kept around for a long time, because they
actually had something interesting to say on other topics
occasionally. Over time, the ratio of real contribution to enabling
became too much, and they went also. Of course, everyone's standards are
different, so you take your
chances. The major consideration is probably to stay on-topic, and
avoid the flame wars.

I do wonder how many have blocked me because I have responded to
threads involving the loons, asking people to stop enabling them by
responding the way they do, mostly to no avail.

Probably 90% of the messages posted to this group involve these
flame wars at times, judging by the number of new posts that
actually make it through my filters.

Yes, who have you blocked and maybe I will do the same. It should
alter the appearance of my Forte Agent newsreader...
Thanks

Easiest thing to do is just watch a bit. It will become quickly apparent.
Sorting through my blocked list looking for people in this group I haven't
seen in years is more than I care to bother with. Stuart and Pigo were the
only two real recently. I kept hoping they'd finally see the futility of
argueing with the loon, but no such luck.

Blocking the regular enablers does significantly change the appearance of
the group.

OK well Twobuddha is the main problem..Walt Dick Bev Horvath Richard Henry
all seem pretty normal. Pigo I don't know about. Same with Stuart but I
would give him the benefit of the doubt. If it is the same Stuart, anyone
read his previous posts? I think he is an instructor who skis with a guy I
know who comes out to Silver Star every Xmas. He teaches skiing in Calgary?
Seems to me he is also a shrink. Yabbahoobs seems Ok as does downhiller.
Tranny Boob seems like a sock puppet for Twobudda, but even if not, I will
killfile him anyways. Snowbender seems like a loon too but harmless enough
so I'll leave him in..

How's all that sound?

Please do. Do not lie about me and do not threaten me, and I can
actually be civil.
One other thing. If someone threatens my life or calls me a child
molester, show that you are a decent human being and object to such
behavior.

It's not like they will ever listen to anything you say in any

Asshole, I listen to you. I simply think you are full of ****. I
most certainly respond in meaningful ways. Go **** yourself has great
meaning.

Mostly, the people I block are the "enablers" that goad the #1
loon trying to antagonise him, and of course, the loon himself.

Translation: he's a dickless coward and pathological liar who takes
cheap shots while hiding in anonymity.

Obviously, you have no moral or ethical standards.

Welcome aboard, lots of good folks here looking forward to your posts
and your opinions.

Thanks Dick. BTW I ski mainly at Sun Peaks and Silver Star BC-

You do realize you just entered a conversation with Dick Gozinya,
don't you?
Hey, I'll be at both of those mountains in December. I am sure you
will not be man enough to show up then.

Do what I initiated. Block trunky (the #1 loon). It's ok to talk about
him sometimes.

Translation: Bob Thompson lies and defames and stalks and commits
felonies to harass me, including lying to Law Enforcement and YOUR
RCMP.

Just don't talk to him. Oddly enough, even though
blocked by most it seems that he still posts often.

They keep lying about me. Witness this post.

It seems that his
existance is so lonely that he craves negative attention over no
attention.

Another ridiculous lie. Don't defame me, don't stalk me, don't
threaten me, and don't have anything to do with freaks like Bob
Thompson, and we'll get along great.

And unfortuneately for me he seems to have some sort of
obsession with me.

BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHA
Bob Thompson is a drunken, brain fried alcoholic, pathological liar,
and one of the most deranged wack jobs ever to post to RSA.

We have gotten together and skied a few times as a group. And there
are a few who have made trip/trips to Utah to ski and looked me up
when they get here. As you can probably understand I am more careful
about letting people know where I live now. I made that mistake once!

Bob, Bob. You keep claiming I never stop by your house.
PPppppuuuussssyyyyy

And in case you haven't seen it. Here is an article written by the
brother of Scott Barak Abraham formerly Scott Spittal:

http://www.backlash.com/content/email/1996/em0196.htm

Hey, Ski Pussy? Your new ski friend Bob Thompson just accused me of
being a child molester.
Do you have any objection to that? Prove you are a decent human
being, or I am going to start accusing you of molesting children.
Do you like children, Rocky Mountain Lying Freak?

I usually get to one of those each year, Silver Star in February for
my wife's birthday- Hide quoted text -

Really? Let me know when you get out in my neighborhood,
