50 K rollerski route through Afton

Headed to Afton area for the Sunday morning 50K rollerski.
Another sparse turnout, but we had enough to qualify as a group.
We started the route with four skiers: Ned, Pete, Woody and
me, all on Marwe's. It was a little hot out, but tolerable.
Bright blue sky, slight breeze, a great day to be out.

Encountered a couple of horse riders on Indian Trail.
The horses were a little spooked. The riders informed us that we
looked like "strange creatures". We already knew that.

Three of us made it past the coulee climb, and short-cutted
a little on the way back for 40+ K. The shortcut
was an extra long stretch on Neal (71) which was pretty
horrible: bad surface, annoying traffic. Otherwise the
route was very nice.
