Where to ski in Northern New Hampshire?
I am staying in Gorham and have skied Great Glen and Bear Notch
(surprisingly nice on the higher trails) and Bretton Woods (really, really nice), and today Sunday River Nordic (poor, they really stretched the truth of how skiable their trails were). Question for which I need a quick answer (only Thursday and Friday left to ski here!); What kind of snow is really at The Balsams. Is it as good as Bretton Woods? They have more altitude so I suspect it may be good. All the new snow is much south of us and too far to drive and waste ski time. Please answer soon! Thanks, GR
