Default Infinity Pole Report - Didn't Snap It

I finally bought some Infinity Poles this year. I'm real glad I did.
The "extremes" are the 3rd lightest in the former lineup. Since they
actually match the swix star in terms of weight (54/g/m) & stiffness &
swingweight, they are going to become the flagship of the lineup this
year. And the sparkle graphics are gone, which is an improvement.

In other words the R1 & the elite are going away, and the extreme, the
one I just bought, is the primary offering. There will also be a less
expensive very robust pole. I heard they somehow improved the shaft of
the extreme, but I may not have that right.

Anyway, now that I have had the chance to do some hill repeats with
it, and an 11k race, I was glad with the pole in every way. Nice damp
feel on the pole plant. I have found with less expensive poles, they
wiggle a lot on the plant, and also the underbuilt infinity's did this
too. These are more solid. The feel is VERY light.

They come with a new micro basket, which is stiff, and just about
weightless. I have even fallen on them without snapping them. Isn't
that a newsflash for Infinity poles ?

Actually they feel like a substantial pole, and should be about as
tough as anything. In fact, I was involved in a race incident in which
a swix star actually did break. The infinity's came out of out fine.
Luck of the draw there.

Bottom line: I recommend these poles based on terrific feel &
performance.
