I'm writing this from our skiing cabin in the mountains of Telemark (Rauland/Vierli), where the xc skiing season is officially started. Snow conditions are very similar to what some of you might have seen from Beitostølen this weekend, i.e. very good in the tracks where they have added manmade snow to the natural snowfalls. Today's two relay races were both fun to watch for Norwegians, with the ladies winning comfortably even with a fall (by A.U. Jacobsen) on the first leg. In the men's relay the first classic leg was amazing: We have a lot of skiers competing for the open world cup places in classic races, and the 4 Norwegian teams finished (in the "correct" order) as 1-4. After two more legs Norway I and Norway II were still in the lead, together with Russia. Unfortunately for the Russian skier, Norway had two very good sprinters on the last leg (Jærdalen and Hetland), so he was forced to pull for much of the leg. About a km before the finish Hetland on Norway II made his move, gapped the two others, and only Norway I managed to catch up. In the final 100 m stretch Hetland lead all the way. When I got home 3-4 hours from now I'll take a quick look at the Dreambox recordings I programmed in before leaving on Friday! I did get all four NRK broadcasts, but there's simply no way I could upload them as-is: We're talking about 28 GB of raw MPEG2 files. :-( The files available as torrents are a much better bet. A torrent would probably be better, but you could take a look at these
two large-file sending sites: http://transferbigfiles.com/Default.aspx http://www.sendago.com/ You'd then have to post the link to the file. rm Terje Mathisen wrote: Oskar Karlin wrote: Sorry I don't have the laides.. Thanks, excellent quality video. Wish they all spoke English, not
just the Germans and Cottrer. Funny singing competition program at the end. Interesting that family were interviewed (I assume that's who they were), something I don't think goes on much in American TV. Also a surprise that someone named Mubashir is the MC on a Norwegian program. Is that hair real? rm Oskar wrote: of try this http://thepiratebay.org/tor/3907299/...beitost __len /o On 2007-11-24 15:22:22 +0100, Oskar said: http://www.mininova.org/tor/1010181 It's from NRK. /o |
