As is typical, less than 24 hours ago, they (the NWS) was forecasting
greater than a foot of snow through Saturday. Now, they have
backed-off to a trace, or so.

Sounds like you'll be getting the leftovers from this last storm front
leaving 2-3 foot in the cascades.

As of 10:15 AM I have 4 3/4 inches storm total in BCC at 8000'.

Observation: Calm, 31 degrees F, moderate to heavy snowfall,
visibility about 1/4 mile.

Tailing off now, but still lake effect showers. Probably end up at
about 8" for Solitude. Not great. Better than nothing.

Not that it probably matters to you all that much, but how soon do you
think they'll be firing up the lifts?

And your point is...???

Let me know when it opens. Or when we find WMDs. And it's not a
point. It's an opinion.

They say Dec 17th. I still don't understand what you are getting at.

Actually, I could care less when they open. I don't ski there.

My exact feelings about Alta. Don't matter no more. Meadow Chutes is
open and being skied. I thought I saw tracks. Reports are it's ok, not
great. I guess tomorrow will be day 1.

Just like your Golden Eagles being listed as an endangered species?

Was that an "opinion" also?

Yup.. turned into a point, no? Difference between you and me? You'll
never admit there's no WMDs and that we got completely hoodwinked and
lied to by your choice of presidents. Twice.

Hell, you won't even admit Fitz isn't a dem, Brown is incompetent, and
most importantly, BUSH SUCKS! The last one says it all.. makes you
special. 1 in 3. Wake up. Most everyone else is waking up.

I really love your 20/20 hindsight.

I had 20/20 foresight on this one.

Of course I was reading the UN inspector reports before the war, not
actively disparaging both the reports and the brave souls going out into
the Iraqi field and investigating every rumor, so I knew there were no
WMD in Iraq in 2003.

We all know Bush Junior is dyslectic and can't read; but I wonder why he
didn't hire someone to read the reports to him (maybe at bedtime?)

Never trust a president who doesn't ski. Not even one who falls off his
bicycle.
