I read a news blurb today that the landowner of much of Park City's upper slopes has served the resort with a 5-day eviction notice. What's that all about?

PCMR missed some lease renewals which resulted in some legal wrangling. They then got caught submitting a backdated letter that was supposed to show how they were in the right and legally operating on the land. The judge was sorta ****ed I guess and Talisker (the land owner) has filed eviction notices. Serves 'em right. Though I don't know these owners I knew the Badami's. They were good folk. But the management was all ****ed up. So I don't really care one way or the other. It would be kind of nice to see the hoity toity's in pc with their panties in a bunch over their cash cow though.

Vail is going to run the crayons and seems to have an eye on pc. Maybe this is all just a giant corporate play?
