Default Trollhaugen (Dresser, WI)

Rumor had it he was expanding from 2.5k to 5k this year. Didn't see any
mention in any of the current glossies that Troll is sending out though.

Rollie and the Troll Hollow crew have done a great job. It gets a
little crowded on high school race nights when the snow is scarce
elsewhere, but its fun to watch them try to maneuver the sharp turns.

Theodore Wirth in Minneapolis was going to install snow-making but that
is on hold for now.

!??! Now THAT's interesting.....first Mountain bike trails, now
snowmaking......sounds like 'ol RT is dreaming big.

If you go to the trollhaugen web site and
click down into the information on tubing,
there is a map that shows the current
xc trails and has some pictures of the new
tubing hills under construction. It doesn't
look real promising to me. The xc skiing
loop in the flats might be
part of the tubing area?? But it does look
like there is a hint of extending the xc
up the hill some more. -Bob
