Trollhaugen (Dresser, WI)
Rumor had it he was expanding from 2.5k to 5k this year. Didn't see any

Theodore Wirth in Minneapolis was going to install snow-making but that
is on hold for now. !??! Now THAT's interesting.....first Mountain bike trails, now snowmaking......sounds like 'ol RT is dreaming big. |

If you go to the trollhaugen web site and
click down into the information on tubing, there is a map that shows the current xc trails and has some pictures of the new tubing hills under construction. It doesn't look real promising to me. The xc skiing loop in the flats might be part of the tubing area?? But it does look like there is a hint of extending the xc up the hill some more. -Bob |
