Default Train Less, Go Faster

For how long have you been training at 60% of normal? This year compared to
last? Or shorter? Well, even as long as a year of this I'd think if you had
been training pretty hard that you could see a big 'well rested' rebound of
freshness and speed.

Still, for marathon comfort make sure you get in a half dozen 3 hour hikes with
poles or something! 4 hour bike rides, 3 hour canoeing. A bunch of those. Don't
have to be going hard but it seems like that's impt for smiling for a whole
marathon. Even if you're well rested! The rest part will fail if you don't have
a nice minimal amount of deep depth under your belt. A dozen 4 hour outings
would probably be better for marathon comfort. Sez my guesswork based on 20 yrs
of this stuff at wide range of speed and comfort, disclaimer disclaimer.
