Skiing trips from Prague
I am going on a short trip to Prague at the start of February and would
like to get in a bit of skiing. Can anyone suggest a good website for booking trips from Prague to any of the good ski resorts in the Czech Republic. Ideally, guided tours would be the best. |

May I suggest you to x-post to soc.culture.czecho-slovak, maybe with an OT subject. I know there are some resorts in the Tatra mountains and I know that 1 and a half hour far north there is a tiny resort called Rokytnice, but I have not yet been there, so I really can't recommend it for downhill skiing. It is not unusual to see Prague people, during the first hours of the morning of saturdays and sundays, walking dressed in ski-apparel toward the central train station, obviously heading toward some close ski resort. You are therefore likely to find good info. Meanwhile I provide you with the following link, that I hope will be of some help, although it is probably more suitable for french speaking people: http://www.ifyouski.fr/resorts/country/czechrepublic/ Have fun, Enotrio |
