Default Roller Skis at competitive prices

Mark; What a nice selection of rollerskis at the site you referred!
The Speed Skate R100 - medium fast - appear to have exactly the same
rubber wheels that Nordic Skater carries ( same size, same aluminum
hub).
For anyone wanting to slow their skis down, using rubber wheels is the
way to go, though manipulating your bearings with grease is far less
expensive.
Pete.

Hey Serge, how do you disassemble ABEC bearings to put the grease
inside? ANy special tools? Where do you get the grease?

Well, your original question is not clear. Are you talking new or
used? Skate, classic, both or combi? With or w/o bindings? For new
rollerskis and sales on bindings, there are all sorts of xc ski shops.
Gear West, Reliable Racing, Finn Sisu, Ski Rack, tobjornsport.com,
Nordic Skater, Cross Country Ski Shop of Grayling, Berkshire Outfitters,
Enduro Rollerskis, and probably a few others. Watch for early season
sales. For used, try skinnyski.com classifieds, NENSA (equipment), ebay
and here. OTOH, given how long most rollerskis last, biting the bullet
for a new pair and saving by getting the bindings for a little less is
not a bad investment. Most shops can mount them for you for a modest
fee.

Back to my original question, anyone have anymore good sites or contacts
for the purchase of rollerskis for good prices. Thanks to those who
already notified me!

Jeff: Yeah, you can get a lot of what you need from NS. But, that
being said, you can get duplicate axles/cap screws for just about
anything from a good hardware store; frame spacers are easy to make;
that leaves the frame and the wheels. Nordic Skate is the only
supplier I can find for 100mm "rubber" wheels; Skates-away.com sells a
125mm solid rubber wheel that I will probably try this Spring or
summer on the low hole of my Aero 150 frame; it'll be a bumpier ride
for sure. Pete
