Default midwest vs. new england trails

Having trouble deciding where to go for my ski trip.......could anyone
comment on the differences/similarities between the nordic centers in New
England and the Upper Midwest (Wisc. Minn, UP)....assuming the snow is good
in both areas. I have skied in New England....I mostly ski the Western
areas like Tahoe, B.C. etc. Looking for something a little different this
year. I do notice that every town in the Upper Midwest I've looked at seems
to cater to snowmobilers to some extent. More so than other areas I've
looked at.

Any comments would be welcome.

Mark
