Howdy. Looking for help with newbie Snowkiting. What general type of board
to get? What shape? Bindings? Boots? Already have the kite incomming!

Am around 190 lbs, fairly strong, but dont know crap about this. Looking
for a board that will take a beating since I will make many mistakes and
beat the snot outta it!!!

I will be learnin on the frozen lakes of Minnesota. Lots of open space -
and only a few rabid moose to worry about!

Any ideas appreciated!!

a) Make sure you know how to fly the kite well, and in powered
conditions, before putting the board on. Make sure you know how to use
the quick release/leash system.

b) use a waist harness instead of a seat

c) Duck stance, -6 and +6 works well for me.

d) You are going to kill your boots in terms of stiffness walking
around a lot, chasing kites, etc.

e) Get a pair of pipe gloves otherwise your fingers freeze when you are
untangling lines.

f) Don't forget you need way less power on snow and ice than on water.
