Probably the bus. There's a pdf timetable he http://www.gva.ch/en/Portaldata/1/Re...eroski-bus.pdf (Its pretty big, prolly broadband only; don't even try on dial-up.) Some buses go direct, some take you to the Prodains cable car. The fare is 30 something euros one way, 60 odd return and it takes a couple of hours. Saturdays they leave the airport at: 8.30 11.00 12.40 14.15 and 18.15 for the cable car and at: 13.30 and 17.20 direct. Weds I think they just run the service from the foot of the Prodains cable car, which leave at: 8.25 14.25 and 17.20 Details of the buses can be found he http://www.altibus.com/ These links and other bits of info can be found he http://www.gva.ch/en/desktopdefault.aspx/tabid-70/ On the Saturday afternoon when you arrive, there's a chance you'll be able to hook up with a private transfer return trip. Quite a few of the chalets in and around Morzine do transfers, and if they've dropped someone off at the airport and don't have anyone to pick up, they'd rather take someone back with them for a few euros than go empty. Obviously there's no way to arrange that in advance, but if you have time to kill before the bus goes anyway, it couldn't hurt to troll around a bit before you buy a ticket. Just a thought, caveat emptor and all that. hth Sean |
