Hi Scott,

I was reading some of your writing on the web. I think people should
be a little more understanding of you. You've had a really hard life,
and lots of bad things have happened to you, especially in your
childhood. Like your mother putting you in an orphanage:

"When she started sabotaging our closeness, I went right back to the
orphanage where you abandoned me. When she disappeared and did not call,
my adult self was in Seattle dealing with the pain of watching my lover
go away. The children inside me were outside of Chicago, standing under
the portico of the entrance to hell, watching that boat-tailed Olds
dwindle down the picket-lined driveway, allowing the nun to lead me into
incarceration, wondering what I had done to make you go away."

Why on earth did she put you in an orphanage? Were you in there all by
yourself, or did you at least have your brother there too? It must have
been terrible. I can't imagine why a mother would do such a thing. And
I can't blame you for resenting it.

To all you others (Astropax, etc): I think you should be a little more
understanding of Scott. Stop ridiculing him!

O.K., I'll stop now.

I had not realized that he was an abandoned child. That explains
everything.

So, I suppose a group hug is out of the question?
