Default Help for WorldLoppet skiers in west Norway

If you are from west Norway and wanna go to a WL race, you can get
help from a local skiclub. Check out it's homepage:

Egentlig burde jeg ved bare skrevet dette på Norsk...

Isn't EVERY race in Norway a WL race?

BTW, aren't "western" Norway and "eastern" Norway basically the same
thing? I heard that Daehlie once rode his bike across the country in
one day.

hei hei
only one WL race per nation. But there are many just as good races in
most ski nations.

As for west and east... It's a 600km car ride, and it's not as
straight as an arrow. If many good bikers can complete 540km bike race
in one day, then I will say that east to west also is doable in one
day.
English pages for the 540km bikerace:
http://www.styrkeproven.no/styrk2003...velse_en.shtml

From north to south it's longer. over 2000km. But hey, Erik Eidsvig,
did that distance alone in a simple wooden rowboat. It was a few
months trip....

There's also a link on the Worldloppet web page to tips for all WL races:

The IAWLS has some interesting and useful information for WL skiers - follow
their link on the Worldloppet web page:
