Default US team seems to be in the 20's this year...

Any word on how the US team is doing overseas? I'm seeing Kris and Andy
in the 20's but that's about it. That seems pretty good. But any news? I
see Tron reporting that they gave Kris the wrong skis for the
Marcialonga---which sounds like it was a wax-hell dp-fest of significant
lameness...with 2nd place stopping on the last hill to rewax!!! ARGH!

Actually, Marcialonga proved to be one of the funniest races to watch on
TV of this season. OK, it's long and packed with dp'ing - but the
dynamics of the race with breakaways, chasing groups and that monster of
a hill to top off 70K of skiing was light year's ahead of these tiresome
"we are going around a 5K lap in a large group who's waiting for the sprint"
events that has been too plentiful.

and he's right it was awesome to watch...
the rewaxing thing was pretty cool... and the last 1000meter goes through
town !
