I spend way to much time in Michigan as it is, but I would like to ski Mt. Bohemia sometime. Looks like fun. And Mt. Trashmore too, but I'm afraid it'd kick my ass. Ah, you're just chicken. OTOH, if the hill's snowed in, you could always visit the US Ski Hall of Fame. http://www.skihall.com/location.htm -- // Walt // // There is no Volkl Conspiracy |

Bohemia is in Africa.

"bdubya" wrote in message news Note for midwesterners (and anybody else looking for something different): looks like the lake effect should be dumping on the Keweenaw late this week and through the weekend (if johndee.com is right), so I'm planning to dodge MLK-weekend crowds and head for Bohemia. If anybody's been curious about the place, this could be a good weekend to check it out. Although it might be a bit bracing; weather.com calls for a high of 0 on Sat., and a balmy 3 on Sun, which ought to keep the lift lines short and the powder fresh. Just FYI. Where is this Bohemia you speak of ? |

He got to be thankful they don't get 500". The hill would disappear. giggle. Cute, o cranky one. I'm headed for Baheemya, natch. That's how this whole folderol started. They bill it as "Rocky Mountain skiing in the Midwest", but that's BS - they got WAY too much O2 for that line to fly. You wouldn't like it; they got boarders. What's interesting, though, is that the hill has no beginners, either boarders or skiers, and IMHO, that actually makes at least as big a difference as banning boarders does. bw |
