Default Vanoise Express, Les Arcs/Plagne

Can't spot another post on this topic but apparently during trials a few
days back a 'malfunction' resulted in one of the duplex cabins crashing into
the station at some 8 metres per second...? As a result it has to be sent
back to Italy for repair and only one will be functioning when the link
opens.

Good PR! Reckon someone's about to collect their French equivalent of the
P45...

I've heard nothing about it on the news, and haven't been up there for a
look, so the above info (from general gossip) may not be entirely
accurate)..

Umm... that's not very encouraging! I took a look at this new lift a
few weeks ago and it is scarily high. If I'm also going to worry about
it coming to a sudden (and violent!) halt at the end of the ride I'm
going to be even more anxious about using it.
