Default recording Biathlonworld?

Hi,

Sorry to repost this, just didn't want it to get lost in the non-
skiing posts it was buried in.

Have any of you computer skiing Gurus figured out how to record the
streaming video that Biathlonworld puts on their website?

It's great that they put up the live races, but having to get up at 4
or 5 am here in North America puts a crimp on it. I've asked the IBU
to consider placing a "replay" function on the website. I asked them
last year and they sounded like they'd consider it for this year. I
re-asked this year and have heard nothing back.

I've tried to record the highlight videos on the website using
HiDownload without success.

Thank you for any suggestions.

Take a look at this site -
http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/ - and check out
Replay A/V, which seems to be about the best for live streaming. Free
trial, tho don't know if it's limited in any way. There's also an
extension for Firefox that streams, but I don't use FF.

I bought Replay a couple weeks ago to record the entire day of live
feed from Kona (Ironman) last month and it worked great. Very easy to
use. They have an option where you can program in a date/time for a
feed you want to record if you give it the location of the feed. I
haven't used that feature yet though. Good luck.

I've used HiDownload to record Hawaii Ironman as well without a problem.
Just can't get it to work on biathlonworld. I'll give your idea a try.
