Default Buying property in France with Intrawest

Has anyone already bought into Intrawest Arc1950 in France. If so how
do you rate the
investment?

We have agreed to help them promote their new real estate developments
for sale in
Flaine and Les Arcs 1800 see http://www.peakretreats.co.uk/intrawest
and we would be interested in real feedback as for the moment we have
only had feedback from guests who have stayed there. Most seem to
enjoy the resort very much.

Thanks

Sorry for the delay in making a response. I missed your question earlier in the year. I went out to the Arc 1850 facility a couple of years ago with a view to buy. I didn't and eventually bought at the MGM facility at La Rosiere. (Also a lease-back property) I am glad I didn't buy at Arc 1850 as it seems to have turned into a version of Disneyland. I have visited both summer and winter and on both occasions was horrified at the blarring elevator music and an overall feeling that it was something from the TV programme "The Prisioner". Bit like Mont Tremblant in Canada (same company) which gave me a sort of island fever uneasiness.

Might be good if you have small children but not really an adult place. Looks pretty but can't dance.
