It snowed lightly down to 1600 here at Les Arcs yesterday afternoon,
with a few more centimetres overnight, snowline currently creeping
upwards but still around 1750m/1800m.

Hey All...

Going to Tignes on Friday.... can anyone tell me if its worth it?
Getting a little worried about all this grass and wild cow talk. Does
anyone know if the snow park in tignes is open aswell? Does anyone know
anything? 'cos i know nothing! help

Don't know if the snowpark's open - though I doubt it - but the
glacier's skiing ok if not spectacular. At this time of year there's
rarely anything else other than the glacier open. Kids will be back any
time now from skiing up there so i'll find out the latest news. There's
been some snow over the weekend but it was followed by tremendous winds
on Sunday night, gusting to over 100 mph (all the lifts etc were so iced
up they had to stayed shut all day Monday, with the pisteurs clearing up
while big blocks of ice were falling off the cables/pylons around them.
