50K Club Report 11-23-03 ON SNOW!

Yeah, it was our turn here in the Twin Cities for snow... We got our
first decent November snowstorm in about 3 years yesterday and today.
As a result, Tom Bengel, Steve Clancey, John O'Connell and I, Jay
Tegeder, went classic skiing at the famed and fabled Como Park aka the
Comenkollen in Saint Paul. No grooming had been done yet but we skied
in a nice classic track. It continued to snow while we were skiing so
the track kept getting filled in but we were not complaining. So far,
we've got about 4 to 5 inches with a few more possible. Anyway, the
total time skiing was 2 1/2 hours. Others on the course included Jay
Wenner, Lee Bengel and his buddy Eric who were skating. Jan and Nora
Bengel were also skating and Julie Wenner was snowshoeing.

Neat cam, will watch that one. I was watching the Fairbanks cam and saw one
bicylist cross the parking lot ... neat from so far away.
