Default How has Lake Tahoe Skiing been this year?

I've been sidelined from the 2006-2007 ski season due to a back injury. Not
skiing has been very depressing!

How's the season been around Lake Tahoe this winter?

I was up at Heavenly Valley Monday and Tuesday . All of the Blue runs where
open but most of the Blacks weren't, and the ones that were had some brown
showing . Its possible to ski top to bottom on both sides but the California
face is Icy. The snow was in pretty good condition very little Ice until
late in the afternoon with only a few patches. There is still some Brown
showing in some spots I have heard the lower elevation resorts are Icy .
They still need another 2 feet or more to be fully open at Heavenly .

Thanks for the report Charles.
I was starting to think, down here in the flat lands, that we were coming up
a little short on rain storms making the snow situation a little weak.

I'm even starting to wonder about my summer lakes getting enough water from
rainfall this winter. Good luck and enjoy the snow you've got!
