Default How to get from Innsbruck to Madonna di Campiglio (without car)?

I would like to know if it is possible to get to this great Italian resort from
Innsbruck without having a car. I figure that there is a train that goes to
Trento, and there should be an easy bus transportation from there. Is this
accurate? Does anyone know a website that would have information on this bus?

Thanks
Grazie

Trains go between Innsbruck and Trento quite often via Brennero pass. Time
table is available on http://fahrplan.oebb.at/bin/oebb.w02/query.exe/en

I never snowboarded in Madonna but vistited Trento and the area (including
Madonna di Campiglio) last year in October. The town looks, unfortunatelly,
unlike typical Italian town including ones on the other side of Dolomites -
it reminded me of some of the American and Canadian resorts with lots of
brand new condo buildings and not very interesting architecture. Still, the
skiing and snowboarding is supposed to be superb there.

Some pictures from my trip are on www.buoyage.com.

I'm not sure about Madonna, but I know the bus station in Trento is very
good, with buses going to various resorts. Many years ago I did a week in
Soll, followed by a week in Andalo. I got the train from Insbruck through
the what do you call it pass, down to Trento. The snow in the pass was
unbelievable, and the scenery fantastic. I stayed in Trento overnight, but
that was my prefarence.
Good Luck

Train to Bolzano (I am sure of this) and bus to Cortina (not sure here but
Bolzano is the main gateway to this part of Dolomites from the West side).
